For High School Students College Planning's blueprint4college will take your student from testing in the 10th grade through the application process and acceptance into college. Initially, we will meet with the family to discuss college plans, resume building, internships, community service activities, application essays, scholarship essays, financial aid, and family contribution. In other words, we cover everything necessary for each student to meet with college planning success.
Includes the following: PREPARE YOUR blueprint4college
Develop a 4-year academic plan
Counsel families on appropriate schools that match their needs
Prepare for the personal interview, if needed
Strong Interest Inventory Report with the In-House licensed Strong Certified - Counselor
Public and Private University Essays
DEVELOP A RESUME
Develop a resume to be used for all applications, letters of recommendations and employment.
INTERNSHIP & SUMMER CAMP
Internship research/placement (Internship to be served preferably the summer between junior and senior year).
Look for appropriate summer camps
Apply for all need and non-need based monies.
COLLEGE & SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
All applications will be submitted for early admittance when it is non-binding and of main importance to the student and family. (NOTE: Most merit based scholarships share the early admittance deadlines for each school.)
Student will meet with counselors on a regular basis to make sure their blueprint4college is being followed.
